The annual report contains a report on DD 's company in 2013 and reports the results obtained in relation to the performance contract.
II2013, DD has taken an important step forward in the decommissioning of Denmark's largest research reactor DR3. The necessary preparations have now been made so that we can lift the 22-tonne steel plug onto the reactor tank during 2014.
We have started to decommission the Fuel fabrication plant where fuel rods were produced for the DR3 reactor. The work is progressing promisingly and we expect to be completed by the end of 2014.
At Hot Cells, work continued on the detailed planning of the work processes as well as the development, design and manufacture of prototypes of tools. The project is technically and execution-wise very complicated, which has delayed the original schedules.
In particular, in the field of waste, an EU tender has been carried out for the volume reduction of radioactive and combustible material.
