You can contact Danish Decommissioning by phone on weekdays from 9 AM to 3 PM at 4633 6300.

If your inquiry concerns the notification or delivery of radioactive waste, please call the waste hotline at 4633 6358.

If you have an urgent matter outside office hours, the technical on-call service can be contacted on mobile at 4633 6311.

Guided tour

Danish Decommissioning aims to contribute to building knowledge about Denmark's radioactive waste and historical nuclear facilities.

Therefore, we offer guided tours of the area, taking into account DD's resources and other tasks.

If an organisation, citizen group, or others wish to visit Danish Decommissioning, you are welcome to contact communications advisor, Casper Boe Jensen, at casje@dekom.

To participate in a guided tour, all visitors must be at least 14 years old.

Tours can be arranged from Monday to Friday.

When visiting

Danish Decommissioning is located on the Risø peninsula together with DTU and Aarhus University approx. 6 km north of Roskilde. Visitors must make an appointment with one of our employees in advance. Upon arrival at the peninsula, you must report your arrival at DTU's guarded gate, where you will receive a visitor’s pass.

Our administration building (no. 214) is located approx. 1 km from the gate.

Knowledge Building

As a state institution, Danish Decommissioning aims to contribute to knowledge building and public information regarding our specialized field, radioactive waste, decommissioning, radiation protection, and numerous related topics.

Therefore, you are always welcome to contact Danish Decommissioning at dd@dekom.dk, and Danish Decommissioning also participates in relevant forums.

Smoke-free workplace

As of January 1, 2024, Danish Decommissioning is a smoke-free workplace. This means that all smoking on the premises is prohibited. This also applies to e-cigarettes and other tobacco products.
