D There was congestion in the narrow office aisle when a bunch of members of the Danish Association of Engineers were on DD tour. From the hallway that used to house DTU employees, there is a good insight into the work area in front of Hot Cells.
The tour, which took place on Tuesday 6 February, started with an introduction to DD, waste management and the work of decommissioning nuclear facilities. The 32 IDA members were then split into two groups and toured the Hot Cells facility and the storage facilities with radioactive waste. At the end, there was ample opportunity to have the range of questions from the engaged guests answered.
