TThe narrow office corridor was crowded when a group of members from the Danish Society of Engineers participated in a DD guided tour. From the corridor, which previously housed DTU employees, there is a clear view of the work area in front of the Hot Cells.
The tour, which took place on Tuesday, February 6th, began with an introduction to DD, waste management, and the decommissioning efforts for the nuclear facilities. Subsequently, the 32 IDA members were divided into two groups for a tour of the Hot Cells facility and the storage facilities for radioactive waste. Finally, there was ample opportunity to address the numerous questions from the engaged guests.
