09 Dec We no longer collect waste

Danish Decommissioning will continue to receive, but no longer collect, radioactive waste. We regret any inconvenience this decision may cause our clients.

RReceiving and treating radioactive waste is among Danish Decommissioning's core tasks. As an additional service, we have until now offered to collect waste from clients. We will no longer offer this service.

The decision has been made based on an assessment that documenting compliance of transport with applicable regulatory requirements would demand significant resources. This is also considered in light of the fact that waste collection is not a core task for us.

We now direct customers to arrange agreements with companies capable of handling the transport of radioactive materials. By prior arrangement, we will receive waste on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 AM to 12 PM.
