02 Sep New organization in Danish Decommissioning as of September 1
Danish Decommissioning changes organization to strengthen progress on priority tasks.
SteenNordstrøm, Director of DD, talks about the new organization and the background for this:
"Since I took over as director, the management team has worked together to ensure that we are organized efficiently in relation to our highest priority project tasks. The new organization will ensure goal achievement and progress on the projects while at the same time gathering important tasks such as radiation protection and work environment as well as security and emergency preparedness in two expert units."
Consolidation of tasks under the new units
The organizational change means that DD goes from 8 to 6 units, and several units change names to support clarity around responsibilities in the units.
There will also be an organizational relocation of the units so that the 3 units responsible for the project tasks: Development, Planning and Execution are gathered under the director.
Tasks related to radiation protection, quality assurance, work environment and regulatory affairs are gathered under the Director of Radiation Protection, work environment and Quality.
Tasks related to security, emergency preparedness, IT and building operations are gathered under the technical director.
In addition, the Technical Director continues to have a special task as a nuclear expert.
Danish Decommissioning's organization before 1/9-2025
