Status of nuclear safety

New progress report says good for DD 's activities.

D Nuclear regulators ( The Danish Health Authority and The Danish Emergency Management Agency ) has for the first time published a progress report on nuclear safety in Denmark. In future, such a report will be published every three years.

The report is primarily concerned with the activities of The Danish Decommissioning Authority, and the overall assessment is, among other things:
"The dismantling of nuclear facilities in the Risø area is proceeding as planned and in accordance with applicable national and international safety and radiation protection requirements. Progress in the settlement is increasingly dependent on a choice of a long-term solution for the management of Danish radioactive waste."
