Under Long-term solution
On 25 August, the Contact Forum set up with representatives of key stakeholders held its second meeting on the matter of a long-term solution for Denmark's radioactive waste.
This time, themeetingtook place at Danish Decommissioning, followed by a guided tour. Representatives of citizens' groups, environmental organisations and others visited the two temporary storage facilities for low and intermediate level waste, as well as the piles of ore from the Kvane mine and the tailing ponds containing the remains of old uranium mining experiments.
