03 Nov International comments on the COWI report

Published in 2016 Under Long-term Solution

Danish Decommissioning has now received comments from four international experts on COWI's sub-report concerning a potential interim storage facility solution.

D The sub-report, submitted by COWI in August, on the safety, operation and finances of an intermediate storage facility solution and the international trade union group's comments on this were reviewed at a meeting on 14 October in Contact Forum, where citizens' groups, municipalities and environmental organisations are represented.

GEUS and Danish Decommissioning are currently working on a comprehensive report on the supplementary interim storage facility investigations. The comments on the COWI report from the international expert group are included in this work, and the group will also be asked to comment on the comprehensive report. This report is to be submitted to the Minister for Higher Education and Science before the end of 2016.
