Nov 3 International comments on COWI report

Danish Decommissioning has now received comments from four international experts on COWI's interim report on a possible interim storage solution.

D The sub-report, submitted by COWI in August, on the safety, operation and finances of an intermediate storage facility solution and the international trade union group's comments on this were reviewed at a meeting on 14 October in Contact Forum, where citizens' groups, municipalities and environmental organisations are represented.

GEUS and Danish Decommissioning are currently working on a comprehensive report on the additional intermediate storage studies. The comments on the COWI report by the international technical group are part of this work and the group will also be asked to comment on the overall report. This is to be submitted to the Minister of Education and Research by the end of 2016.
