On Friday 17 March, Minister for Education and Research Søren Pind visited Danish Decommissioning for the first time.

D The two-hour visit started with an introduction to DD purpose, tasks and operation. Then the trip went in brisk trot to Dansk Reaktor 3, where project manager Per H. Søndergaard told about the ongoing decommissioning. Heidi Sjølin Thomsen, project manager for the long-term waste solution, then showed around the temporary waste storage facilities. The visit was concluded with a discussion on DD tasks and challenges in the short and long term.
