Danish Decommissioning's annual report 2018 has now been approved and signed by the Agency for Institutions and Educational Support.
I In the past year, DD has achieved important milestones such as the removal of the internal components of Danish Reactor 3 and the rough decontamination of all six cells in the Hot Cell facility. A project description for the Decommissioning of the last nuclear facility at Risø, the waste treatment plant, has been submitted for approval to the nuclear regulatory authorities. Work has also commenced on the new tasks resulting from parliamentary resolution B 90 from May 2018.
Overall, the professional results are assessed as satisfactory in relation to the resources utilized and the reallocations made during the year. The financial result for 2018 was a surplus of DKK 3.7 million (compared to a deficit of DKK 1.7 million in 2017).
