A European erfa group

Representatives from 18 countries met in Denmark on 22 to 24 May to exchange experience on the management of radioactive waste.

C Club of (Waste Management) Agencies is a forum that has been operating for more than 30 years. Every six months, waste operators from European countries meet to discuss in a confidential space different aspects of waste management – from the status of international collaborations to new technology and each country's development of a long-term solution for radioactive waste.

The hosting rotates, and for this 67th meeting, Danish Decommissioning was in charge. The exchange of experience between the 28 participants took place on the first two days in a hotel in the centre of Copenhagen, and on 24 May there was a visit to Risø. This winter, the Club of Agencies will meet again, this time in Slovenia.
