GEUS has now submitted the results of the area studies conducted in five municipalities, with the aim of identifying the most suitable location for the storage of radioactive waste.
TThe inter-ministerial working group, established to identify the most suitable location for a final repository for radioactive waste from Risø, held a meeting on Thursday, January 31st.
At the meeting, GEUS presented the results of the regional studies, which have been carried out with contributions from the Danish Nature Agency in Skive, Struer, Kerteminde, Lolland, and Bornholm Municipalities, respectively.
