AAt DD, our operations involve materials that emit ionizing radiation or are radioactively contaminated. This inherently distinguishes DD's safety protocols significantly from those of most other enterprises in Denmark. Concurrently, DD also confronts a series of conventional safety challenges that closely parallel those encountered by other organizations.

The annual work environment report describes our efforts and results. This year, it notably details the remote cutting of the innermost reactor tank in DR 3 – an illustration of the challenges we face concerning both conventional and nuclear safety and radiation protection.
