Jan 23 Contact Forum for Roskilde

The Danish Parliament's decision from May 2018 regarding a long-term solution for radioactive waste stipulates that the waste must remain at Risø until no later than 2073. The implications of this for the citizens of Roskilde can be thoroughly discussed in a new, local contact forum.

Monday 7 January was the first meeting of the Contact Forum Roskilde. The 16 members represent the council and administration of Roskilde Municipality, local citizens' groups, interest groups, Danish Decommissioning and Ministry of Higher Education and Science.

All meetings are open to the press and the public; the next will take place on Monday, April 8, 2019, from 4 PM to 6 PM. The agenda and materials will be published on the Ministry's website.
