In 2023, the focus was on the Danish Decommissioning Authority's (DD) three main tasks: continued decommissioning of the nuclear facilities, preparation of a new upgraded storage facility (NOL) and the process towards a final repository for the radioactive waste.

The use of resourceshas corresponded satisfactorily to the results achieved, and DD thus finds the results for 2023 satisfactory." - Annual Report 2023, p. 12.

This is the conclusion on the consumption of resources in DD for the year 2023.

Both progress and challenges
2023 has seen progress on the DR3 project, NOL and Hot Cells, among others.

But it has also been a challenging year for the same projects.
