In 2023, the focus of Danish Decommissioning (DD) was on three main tasks: continued decommissioning of nuclear facilities, preparation of a new upgraded storage facility (NOL), and the process towards a final repository for radioactive waste.

Resource utilization has satisfactorily corresponded to the results achieved, and DD therefore considers the 2023 results satisfactory.” – Annual Report 2023, p. 12.

This is the conclusion regarding resource consumption at DD for the year 2023.

Both Progress and Challenges
2023 has seen progress, particularly on the DR3 project, NOL, and Hot Cells.

However, it was also a year that presented challenges for these same projects.
