The Danish system for the management of radioactive waste has been evaluated by an international group of experts. The report is now available, with 7 recommendations and 2 proposals.

From 1 to 9 May, Danish Decommissioning hosted seven independent international experts sent by the International Atomic Energy Agency. The visit provided the framework for an assessment of Denmark's system for the safe management of radioactive waste.

In 2018, the Danish Parliament decided to establish a new, upgraded storage facility for Denmark's radioactive waste at Risø. The waste will be stored here until 2073 at the latest. Come to an information meeting about the plans.
